First market of the season

See you at the market this Saturday!

This week marks the beginning of our 4th season as vendors at the bustling Guelph Farmers Market.  It also happens to be the earliest in June we’ve had a harvest.  Despite the slow start to spring, tender salad greens and spinach are ready to go!

While the real bounty still lies in rows and rows of fledgling seedlings, we will begin the season with:

  • salad greens – a mix of tender baby lettuce
  • spinach
  • bundles of green onions
  • green garlic (the stem and immature bulb can be used like green onion to satisfy your fresh garlic fix!)
